Courseware as a Service (CaaS) Program

The Courseware as a Service (CaaS) program provides affordable access to quality training materials through an annual licensing scheme, enabling access to vital education while dramatically reducing costs.

Education is a vital element of any service management strategy and likely the first budget element to be impacted in an economic downturn.  There are generally three common means of receiving education:

  • Classroom delivered as part of a public schedule
  • Classrooom delivered onsite at your own organization
  • Distance or remote learning using Internet services

The CaaS program adds a valuable fourth option: Self Study, or Self Delivery using proven, quality assured and accredited materials, supported by experienced instructors, at a fraction of the cost of each of the three previously mentioned options.

The CaaS program provides unlimited access and use to courseware under an annual license agreement, enabling dramatic savings within an organization-wide education program.

The program also provides support to those organizations who wish to become fully accredited in their own right to offer education services based upon either the ITIL Qualification Scheme (IQS) available from the Office of Government Commerce, or the Service Management Qualification Scheme (SMQS), from the Service Management Society.

Service Management 101 is an Accredited Courseware Provider (ACP) and Accredited Training Provider (ATP), and official partner of the EXIN Examination Institute, an organization authorized to provide ITIL examination services, and similarly the Service Management Society.

Ian Clayton, the principal of Service Management 101, has been associated with Service Management and ITIL education in the USA since 1997, and one of the most respected and experienced ITIL instructors in the world.
