The ITIL 'framework' has a long standing history of being the initial 'go-to' source of best practice guidance when considering an IT service management initiative. Consisting of five core publications in its current version, ITIL provides a descriptive approach to the management of information system services based upon a philosophy of continual improvement of the management of a service through a lifecycle.
Service Management 101 is both an Accredited Courseware Provider (ACP) and Accredited Training Provider (ATP), and official partner of the EXIN Examination Institute, an organization authorized to provide ITIL examination services.
Ian Clayton, the principal of Service Management 101, has been associated with ITIL education in the USA since 1997, and one of the most experienced ITIL instructors in the world.
As an ACP Service Management 101 is authorized to license complete training sets, consisting of instructor guide, presentation slides, and student workbooks. These are available through the online store. A list of currently available classes is shown in the right hand menu.
