This service is designed to help protect an investment in ITIL and is provided  on a complimentary basis to subscribers of the SMBOK service.

The Decipher the ITIL Code service provides a unique insight into the message of ITIL and a comprehensive analysis of its strengths and weaknesses, any information gaps, suspect guidance, and clarification in the form of 'deciphers' of unclear or vague statements.

The service spans Versions 2 and 3 of ITIL, and includes guidance mined from the core publications presented as a library of 'best practice statements' categorized by subject area.

This service should not be regarded as an official ITIL source.  The official ITIL website may be accessed here.  Access to this service requires an annual membership to this site.  A sample subset of the Code and full access to the complete ITIL Glossary is available to registered guests.
